Bosses

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Bosses are all recognized members of Doubt's army. Some are newly devoted to Doubt's cause, while others have been serving for thousands of years. Their devotion to Doubt, through either his slithery words or his mind control magic, is unwavering.

In Story Mode or Free Mode, Bosses are the final obstacle of a stage. Unlike other enemy units in the game, they do not go into a hitstun of any kind when they are hit, instead flash white when they take damage. This difference means that they are unable to be comboed 'traditionally' and thus their patterns and attacks need to be carefully observed when fighting them.
