Doubt is the main antagonist of Wishmere. Storyline-wise, Doubt is an undying evil spirit of demon origin, sought out to end the human race.
Doubt possesses superhuman strength, speed and endurance. He has the power to corrupt people's minds, resurrecting the dead, the manipulation of dark matter and shadows.

Biography[ | ]
He has been trying to conquer the Earth for a millennia, he is known as the voice of evil. Doubt has been waging war against King Elreed, his mortal enemy. An ancient undying spirit of evil manifested into physical form, Doubt's connection to dark energy is limitless. Seeing the world as imperfect and seeing no value, Doubt's mission is to conquer Earth and rule as it's only true force. In his early years, disgusted by humanity, Doubt slaughtered thousands of innocents, flaying them and mutilating them, searching for a way to bend the world to his will.
It wasn't until King Elreed swore to protect the Earth, that Doubt's bloodshed subsided. When presented with a group of teenagers, Doubt was arrogant. To his surprise, he was defeated by the first generation of Wishmere. Years passed and Doubt found a way back to walk amongst the living. Ever the strategist, Doubt adapted his approach constantly, bolstering his forces with once-powerful humans, and ambushing and killing several generations of Wishmere prior.
Silver tongued, manipulative and condescending, Doubt's mind games and dark aura precede his merciless thirst for darkness and human blood.
Gameplay Overview[ | ]
Doubt is a character who uses the screen to his advantage. He excels at screen control, dictating the screen space of the game. He has several projectile based attacks, allowing him to fight from a distance. When he needs it, Doubt can manipulate his opponent's location be bringing them closer to him (with Demon's Seduction (f + AB) or Swallowing Serpent (d + AB) or making them fear getting close to him (with his Edge or Temporal Hold (u + AB). Doubt's normals are relatively slower than the other characters, and he lacks a panic-button move, making it very hard to defend himself if he cannot get his offense set up.

Performing Infectious Shadow will make Doubt cast a large darkness pool in front of him and at his feet. Any opponent stepping into the pool will slowly drain health, irregardless of guarding. This gives Doubt a tool to dictate the pace of the battle, he can go aggressive and play around the pool when it is active. The pool is unblockable, but opponents who are jumping will not be affected by the pool. The pool is active for (8 seconds) and durability health of (3 seconds). Doubt can drag or push his opponents away from the pool but pressing b / f + EDG, but this will eat up 2 seconds of active time.
