Wishmere can be played with a controller, a fightstick or a keyboard. Though a controller or a fightstick is recommended due to the various simultaneous inputs and quick movements that could be hindered when using a keyboard. Wishmere uses two types of selectable control schemes, Fighter and Shortcut, which are changeable in-game. == Differences between Fighter and Shortcut == The only difference between the Fighter and Shortcut control scheme is how it affects performing Super Moves and Fate Moves. The notations affected by the control schemes are:- {| class="wikitable article-table" border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" style="width: 750px;" ! colspan="3" style="text-align: center;" |Example on a X-Box controller |- !Action: ! scope="col" |Fighter control scheme !Shortcut control scheme |- |Super Move |Y button + B button |LB |- |Ultimate Move |Up + Y button + B button |Up + LT |- |Fate Advance |Any attack + RT |LT |- |Fate Break |when taking damage or blocking, any attack + RT |when taking damage or blocking, LT |} NOTE: changing controller schemes affect only the player in control, not the other players. The Shortcut control scheme minimizes multi-button inputs as best as possible. The Fighter control scheme is recommended for: * players who are used to fighting games * players who are using a fightstick * players who are using a game controller AND are used to fighting games The Shortcut control scheme is recommended for: * players who are unfamiliar with fighting games * players who are using a keyboard * players who are using a game controller AND are unfamiliar with fighting games ==Fighter control scheme== Below is a layout of the Fighter control scheme used: {| class="wikitable article-table" border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" style="width: 750px;" |- !Movement: ! scope="col" |(X-Box / Windows) Controller / Fightstick Input: !(Sony) Controller / Fightstick Input: !(Player 1) Keyboard Input: !(Player 2) Keyboard Input: |- | Left |Left |Left |A |Dir Left |- | Right |Right |Right |D |Dir Right |- | Up |Up |Up |W |Dir Up |- | Down |Down |Down |S |Dir Down |- | Light Attack |X button |Square |T |P |- | Hard Attack |Y button |Triangle |Y |[ |- | Ability |B button |Circle |H |' |- | Jump |A button |X |G |; |- | Block |RB |R1 |6 | - |- | Edge |RT |R2 |8 |Backspace |- | Super |Y button + B button |Triangle + Circle |Y + H |[ + ' |- | Fate |Any attack + RT |Any attack + R2 |Any attack + 8 |Any attack + Backspace |- |Pause |Start |Start |ESC |ESC |} == Shortcut control scheme == Below is a layout of the Shortcut control scheme used: {| class="wikitable article-table" border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" style="width: 750px;" |- !Movement: ! scope="col" |(X-Box / Windows) Controller / Fightstick Input: !(Sony) Controller / Fightstick Input: !(Player 1) Keyboard Input: !(Player 2) Keyboard Input: |- | Left |Left |Left |A |Dir Left |- | Right |Right |Right |D |Dir Right |- | Up |Up |Up |W |Dir Up |- | Down |Down |Down |S |Dir Down |- | Light Attack |X button |Square |T |P |- | Hard Attack |Y button |Triangle |Y |[ |- | Ability |B button |Circle |H |' |- | Jump |A button |X |G |; |- | Block |RB |R1 |6 | - |- | Edge |RT |R2 |8 |Backspace |- | Super |LB |L1 |5 |0 |- | Fate |LT |L2 |7 |= |- |Pause |Start |Start |ESC |ESC |}
